In 2025, DTEK Energy Paid More than UAH 23 bln in Taxes to the Budget

In 2025, DTEK Energy paid UAH 23.4 bln in taxes to budgets of all levels, 38.5% more than in 2024. The company fulfils its obligations to the state, provides jobs for the economy despite the war and continues to pay salaries to employees on time.

“Conscientious and timely fulfilment of tax liabilities is one of DTEK Energy’s priorities. In difficult wartime conditions, we continue our operations, support the functioning of the economy, preserve jobs and contribute to the stable operation of Ukraine’s energy system,” remarked Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO of DTEK Energy.

In the first quarter of 2026, DTEK Energy paid another almost UAH 5.3 bln in taxes to budgets of all levels.

Background

In 2025, the company’s investments in repairs of TPPs and Ukraine’s coal mining sector amounted to UAH 16 bln, UAH 5 bln more than in 2024. In January–March this year, according to preliminary information, DTEK Energy allocated about UAH 4.2 bln to preparing its enterprises for summer consumption peaks and the next heating season, including the recovery of TPPs and the operation of mines. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the total has reached almost UAH 49 bln.
