Today, 8 September, russia once again carried out a terrorist attack on one of DTEK Energy’s thermal power plants.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
However, as a result of several waves of targeted attacks, the thermal power plant’s equipment was severely damaged and the plant was forced to stop generating electricity completely.
The power engineers are working to deal with the aftermath of the attack. DTEK Energy is coordinating its actions with NPC Ukrenergo to support more reliable operation of Ukraine’s energy system.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, DTEK Energy’s thermal power plants have been attacked by the enemy more than 230 times.
Despite constant enemy attacks, the power engineers continue to do everything possible to support the reliability of Ukraine’s energy system and to prepare for getting through the coming heating season.
