Starting on October 20, the apartments and houses of Kurakhovo residents connected to a central heating system will receive heat. The heating season started in accordance with a resolution passed by the executive committee of Kurakhovo City Council based on the average temperature indicators.

“Prior to the start of the heating season, we performed hydraulic tests on all pipelines and repaired defects. We completed the scheduled replacement of the pipeline supplying heat to buildings on Energetykiv Street. We replaced shut-off valves on the individual sections of the city heating network. The preparations started back in June because we feel responsibility towards our consumers. DTEK is a reliable partner of the state and the community,” Dmytro Harahashko, head of the service of thermal water supply networks of DTEK Kurakhivska TPP, confirmed the readiness for the heating season.

“Power engineers guarantee reliable heat supply as all consumers have already been connected to the heat supply. The temperature of the heat carrier in the pipelines corresponds to seasonal parameters at the beginning of the heating season.”
