Employees of DTEK Energy's machine-building plants continue to supply equipment to Ukrainian underground mines and help them produce coal.
Last year, the company's mechanical engineers manufactured and repaired almost 1.1 thousand units of mining equipment. Among the key products were 11 new roadheaders and shearers.
The machine building companies also supplied more than a million spare parts and components to meet the needs of miners.
‘Reliability of the energy front and the successful passing of the heating season by thermal generation largely depends on the coordination and daily work of everyone. Ukrainian machine builders continue to make a significant contribution to this by supporting underground miners and Ukrainian coal production in general with the necessary mining machinery,' said DTEK Energy CEO Oleksandr Fomenko.
