A Power Engineer Killed in a Massive Shelling of DTEK Energy’s TPP

Unfortunately, according to the updated information, a power engineer at one of DTEK Energy's thermal power plants, Dmytro Petlenko, a boiler and turbine section attendant, was killed in the morning shelling.

After search operations at the plant, he was found under the rubble with no signs of life.

Dmytro was 51 years old. He had dedicated more than 30 years to the power engineering profession. He had been working at Zaporizhzhia TPP for a long time. After Enerhodar was occupied, he was employed at another thermal power plant of the company, where he continued to fight for light for the last year and a half.

It is a great loss for the Ukrainian energy sector.

We express our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. The company will provide them with all necessary support.

May he rest in peace!
