The competition of mini-grants "The Whole itself" DTEK conducts in all regions where the company's enterprises operate. This helps to stimulate public activity and initiative among the residents to solve the problems of territorial communities.
Initiative group "Hope" under the direction of Tatyana Bulavina, which included residents from. Dobropolye, drew attention to the fact that the rural school has been working for many years on the information technology profile. Students successfully occupy prizes in various competitions, are actively engaged in the school of leaders on the basis of the regional department of education. Also at school there is a union of initiative youth "Family".
The initiative group sent a prize from DTEK to the development of the Intellect educational center: they made repairs in the premises, bought new furniture and computer equipment, and provided Internet connection. The necessary conditions for the self-education of gifted and talented students appeared in the school.
"Both parents and children and teachers are happy with the updated cabinet with modern technology," said Svetlana Litvinenko, the school's director. "Now we have our own educational center for events and additional classes for students."
Viktoria Grib, head of the Department for Social Development of DTEK Energo is confident that such projects not only help to further develop rural youth, but also stimulate them not to leave their native land: "DTEK always tries to support the cities and districts where our enterprises operate. And we are very pleased with the fruitful cooperation with the local communities. Together we will be able to achieve that standard of living when our children do not want to leave Big Dobropolye. "
