On February 14, DTEK Ternovskoye Mining Department had an unusual atmosphere. At the entrance - an armful of red heart-balls and the sounds of music. So the wives of miners met here who decided to go down to the mine at a depth of 420 meters on Valentine's Day to treat their beloved husbands with morning coffee and give a kiss. The wives of the miners of the mining site No. 1 decided on such an unusual act.
Kiss under the ground: the adventure of miners' wives on Valentine's Day

Not every woman will agree to such an underground excursion. However, the miners' wives do not have the courage, so they went underground to see how their husbands get coal that is scarce for Ukraine and congratulate them on the Valentine's Day. Before descending into the mine, the women were instructed in safety precautions and learned how to use the self-rescuer. On this day they also visited the elegant site, where they met the head of their husbands - the experienced leader Vladimir Romankov.

Yuri Zhukovsky, acting Director of DTEK SHU Ternovskoe:
"Today for wives of miners of the 1st mining site the day was unusual. On Valentine's Day, their dream came true - to visit the workplace of their husbands. It is important for us that the climate in the mining families is favorable, because the mood with which the person starts to work largely depends on this. And this, first of all, its safety. And we are doing everything that depends on us, so that in the families of our miners there is mutual understanding. "

During the excursion, having descended underground to a depth of 420 meters and riding in a miner's carriage, the women saw how the miners of the tunneling and mining areas worked, and were most impressed with the passing harvester. The culmination moment was a meeting at the workplace of husbands. Embrace, ecstasy and even coffee with pancakes - all this was a surprise for men, and a collective kiss under the ground now uniquely claims to record in the Book of Records of Ukraine.

Afterwards, on the surface, women were met with the sounds of a live saxophone and scarlet balls in the form of a heart, and they were also dedicated to the "Real Wives of Shu Ternovskoye".

Ekaterina Stasyuk, the wife of the miner:
"We were not told that they would lead us into the lava. We climbed on karachkov in lava. It's very hard work, really. Our husbands are working hard really. "

Yana Lukyanenko, the miner's wife:
"I liked it very much! Emotion a lot, impressions, and memories, in general, probably for life. This is an excellent idea, we really enjoyed it! "

Tatyana Devda, the wife of the miner:
"I have long wanted to see how the mine works underground. I was amazed by the scale of coal mining. Here, though, a dangerous production, but we saw how much is being done for its safety and for the convenience of miners. The plot of the husband is his second family. I'm very glad that he works in such a friendly team. God grant that they always were all right. "
