Children of miners reminded parents of safety
In the city of Belozerskoe, the traditional drawing competition "Labor Protection Through the Eyes of Children" was held, organized by the Administration of the Belozerskoe Mine Administration. 48 schoolchildren took part in it in three age groups. The purpose of the competition is to attract the attention of employees, their families and friends to the problem of personal safety at work, to motivate workers to observe the rules of labor protection and form a safety culture for the younger generation of Ukrainians.

The topic of mining is not accidental, because the basic industrial enterprise for the city is DTEK Belozerskoe mine management. At the mines of Novodonetskaya, Pioneer and Belozerskaya, almost 4,000 employees work, including the parents of many of the children who took part in the contest. Child creativity is a great reserve for effective prevention of injuries, one of the most massive and effective methods of motivating safe behavior for all working parents.

Such competitions help children to take a fresh look at the coal industry, labor protection, personal security. And their parents - to take personal security seriously.

To accomplish the task, the guys came up creatively and prepared very interesting drawings. The competition committee found it difficult to determine the winners, but in the end, the best 9 papers were selected in three age groups. April 21 at the Center for Children and Youth Creativity held a ceremony of awarding the winners of the drawing competition. Director of Belozerskoe Mine Management Yevgeny Kolesnichenko personally presented the winners with Certificates of Honor and prizes, besides all participants received sweet gifts.

Addressing the children, Evgeny Anatolyevich, said:
- DTEK strives to make mining work at our enterprises safe, a lot of money is channeled to it. But all these measures and rules will not work, if the miners themselves will not strive to protect their lives and health. Therefore, it is very important that they are reminded of this constantly by relatives and friends who are waiting for their home. According to your works, I see that you very much love your parents, take care of them. Thank you for your indifference and for the bright original drawings.
