555 MW straight into the energy system: Zaporizhzhya TPP to connect power unit No. 2 to the energy system

Today, at 7.30 pm, Zaporizhzhya TPP connected power unit No. 2 to the energy system of Ukraine. The load is being gained. Currently, Zaporizhzhya TPP operates with three power units (No. No. 2,3,4) at a capacity of 550 MW.
DTEK Zaporizhzhya TPP switched on the power generating unit to compensate for the capacity of power generating unit No. 1, which was shut down for short-term repair maintenance. As soon as the power engineers eliminate the shortcomings at power generating unit No. 1, it shall be ready to work within Ukraine’s energy system.
