Despite hostile attacks, DTEK Energy's thermal power plants continue to support the reliability of the Ukrainian power grid with their capacities to manouevre.
For this purpose, the company's TPPs supplied almost 12.3 billion kW•h of electricity in the first 10 months of this year. This is equivalent to the average consumption of about 4.1 million households throughout the year.
“The heating season has started. Along with the next waves of Russia's energy terror, which our plants experienced again in October and November. This will just increase the load on the power system, especially during peak consumption periods. That is why power engineers are working 24/7 and will continue to work hard to maintain the reliability of the thermal generation system and the Ukrainian power grid, because it means light and heat in the homes of Ukrainians," said Ildar Salieiev, CEO of DTEK Energy.
