With the start of the third military heating season, DTEK Energy companies continue to produce thermal coal, which is vital for the country.
To this end, over the past ten months, the company's miners have commissioned 18 new longwalls. Another 8 longwalls are planned to be commissioned in November and December.

‘Thanks to the miners' efforts, we managed to accumulate the necessary fuel reserves to get through the autumn and winter period and support the fuel needs of thermal power plants during peak electricity consumption. To make this possible, we have invested over UAH 6.5 billion in domestic coal production since the beginning of the year and plan to increase these investments to UAH 7.6 billion by the end of the year,' said DTEK Energy CEO Oleksandr Fomenko.
