Power sector workers have just finished all the repairs at DTEK Energy's thermal power plants that were scheduled before the start of the heating season, and continue making every effort to complete the annual scheduled repair campaign. All of this is done to ensure that the equipment operates at its maximum capacity throughout the entire winter period.
Today, power sector professionals have added yet another TPP unit to the reliability of the Ukrainian energy system after repairs. This is already the 5th one added in October and the 20th since the beginning of the year. It will increase the balancing thermal generation capacity and the energy system by an additional 240 MW.
All in all, this year the power sector professionals plan to complete the scheduled repairs of 27 power units. The company is investing approximately UAH 3.9 billion in this effort, which is almost twice as much as last year.
