In Kurakhovo, in Donetsk region, not far from the demarcation line, there is no water. Because of the shelling, the canal water supply from the South Donbass water pipeline was stopped here.
Together with the local authorities, DTEK Kurakhivska TPP's power engineers are organizing the drinking water supply from the filtration plant's reserves. Drinking water is provided free of charge at the bottling points. Together with the city council, they inform in advance about the schedule and the list of spill points.
Also at Kurakhivska TPP, they had taken care of the bomb shelter and its provision with everything necessary - drinking water, generators and medicines. Also had provided the opportunity for residents to get into the shelter if necessary.
