DTEK Energy's defenders will have more opportunities to recover their physical and mental health. Starting from the beginning of April, all veterans who return to work for the company will have access to a special voluntary health insurance programme called Veteran+. In this way, the company continues its systematic work to help veterans return to civilian life.
The traditional health insurance options provided to all employees of the company, including emergency, inpatient and outpatient medical care, free medicines and diagnostics, have been supplemented by an increased annual sum insured, the ability to treat chronic diseases and injuries (including those suffered during the military service), and expanded psychological assistance.
In general, the support programmes for employees in the military service and veterans at the company's operations include voluntary health insurance, psychological and legal support for defenders and their families, and regular payments for children or parents of employees in the military service. Veterans also have the opportunity to work with experienced mentors when they return to work, receive career guidance, retrain and acquire a new profession if their health condition does not allow them to work in their previous speciality.
‘We continue to improve our programme to support military servicemen and veterans at our businesses. To do this, we actively cooperate with active military staff and those who have already returned to civilian life. The emphasis is on real help and solving pressing problems. We understand that recovery and improvement of veterans' health is our top priority. We are sincerely grateful to each colleague for defending our country and try to do everything we can to provide comprehensive support,' said Natalia Abramova, Advisor to DTEK Energy CEO and Head of the Veterans project.
