DTEK Energy's machine-building companies continue to work hard to support the needs of Ukrainian miners for underground mining equipment (UME).

In January-February this year, the company's machine building engineers manufactured and repaired 230 units of UME to ensure that Ukraine will be able to safely get through the next heating season. Among them are three new shearers.

The machine building engineers also provided Ukrainian mines with 160 thousand spare parts and components.

"Thanks to the work of machine builders, underground miners continue to maximise coal production and not only maintain the necessary fuel reserves for the reliable operation of Ukrainian TPPs and the energy system as a whole, but also lay a reliable foundation for this during the next autumn and winter. To this end, in just two months of this year, our miners managed to put 6 new coal longwalls into operation, one of them - ahead of the schedule. So we keep on moving," said Ildar Salieiev, DTEK Energy CEO.
