Last year, DTEK Energy's machine building companies manufactured and repaired 750 units of mining equipment to maintain the reliable operation of Ukrainian mines.
In 2023, DTEK Machine Building Engineers Supported Ukrainian Coal Mining With 15 New Shearers and 1.1 Million Spare Parts

The key products include 15 new tunnelling machines and shearers, which enabled miners to maximize coal production and maintain the necessary reserves of fuel for reliable operation of thermal power generation and the Ukrainian energy system as a whole.

Also in 2023, machine building engineers provided miners with about 1.1 million spare parts and components.

"Last year was no less responsible for Ukrainian machine building companies than the unprecedented year of 2022. Back then, they had to address the needs of miners while relocating their production facilities from the war zones to safer regions. Last year, they did their utmost to ensure that our coal mining companies produced as much coal as planned. After all, we all have the same goal - to ensure that Ukrainians have electricity and heat despite any dark intentions of the enemy," explained DTEK Energy CEO Ildar Salieiev.
