The enemy continues to terrorise civilian infrastructure, once again massively shelling Ukraine's energy facilities.
Last night, on 8 May, three DTEK Energy thermal power plants were attacked.
This is the fifth massive attack on the company's energy facilities in the last month and a half. The last time the enemy attacked DTEK Energy's TPPs was during massive attacks on 22 and 29 March, and 11 and 27 April.
Fortunately, there were no casualties this time.
The equipment at the plants was severely damaged. After the attack ended, the power engineers promptly started to repair the damage and restore the equipment.
In the face of massive enemy shelling, DTEK Energy employees continue to do everything possible to maintain the reliable operation of the Ukrainian energy system. The company coordinates its actions with NPC Ukrenergo and the Ukraine's Energy Ministry.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, DTEK Energy's thermal power plants have been shelled about 180 times. During this period, 51 employees were injured and 3 power engineers were killed in the attacks.
