In recent days, the temperature drop has significantly increased the load on the Ukrainian power grid and thermal generation in particular. At the same time, due to the increased workload and the consequences of enemy attacks, power plant units are periodically forced to undergo short-term unscheduled repairs.
There were 6 such outages over the past day. During the same day, TPP employees restored 3 power units to operation and will repair the rest of the equipment in the near future.
It should also be noted that frontline TPPs are regularly shelled by enemy artillery, and it takes longer to repair the equipment. The DTEK power engineers continue to do their best to maintain the reliability of the power system using all available capacities.
