DTEK Energy’s machine builders continue to work in an intensified mode to provide Ukrainian mines with the equipment they need for more reliable coal production during the war.
In January–April 2026, the company’s machine-building enterprises manufactured and repaired 640 units of mining equipment. They also produced more than 600,000 spare parts and components, including five new roadheaders and longwall shearers, as well as three Ukrainian-made electric motors.
“The resilience of the energy system, especially during the most difficult winters such as the one we have just experienced, is built through daily proactive work. Our machine builders are already manufacturing and repairing equipment, components and spare parts needed for the more reliable operation of Ukraine’s coal mining sector. This is a contribution to the reliability of mines, the energy system and readiness for the challenges of the next season,” stated Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO of DTEK Energy.
