Today, DTEK Energy has connected another power unit of one of the company's thermal power plants to the electricity grid system after completion of scheduled repair works.
DTEK Energy CEO Ildar Saleev posted this on his Facebook page.
According to him, this time, up to 140 MW of generating capacity has been added to improve the reliability of the Ukrainian power grid system.
He said that within the framework of the annual scheduled repair campaign, DTEK Energy had restored all power units planned for the start of the heating season, that is, 19 out of 19.
But, he assured that power engineers would not stop working for a minute.
“In order for the equipment to work reliably and efficiently throughout the entire heating season, we continue repairing other power units according to the schedule. By the end of the year, we will have carried out scheduled repairs to 27 power units in total. We are increasing investments in the repair activities to reach UAH 3.9 billion. This is almost twice as much as last year," explained Saleev.
He noted that power sector workers made every effort to ensure that the enemy's energy terror would fail this winter as well.
“The best proof of this is the light and warmth in homes of Ukrainians. This is what we strive for, by strengthening the energy front lines on the eve of the next big battle," said Saleev.
