In the high heating season, DTEK Energy's power engineers and repairmen have completed the repair of a power unit at one of the Thermal Power Plants that was damaged by massive shelling last winter.
This power unit is the 10th one to be restored by the company after enemy attacks.
The upgraded capacities allow us to increase the heat generation capacity in the high heating season and during peaks in electricity consumption. The power unit will be connected to the Ukrainian power grid in the near future. This will increase its reliability by more than 200 MW.
As part of the annual scheduled maintenance campaign, DTEK Energy completed 26 repairs of power units (including transitional ones). They include two additional re-activated power units with a total capacity of 500 MW. Investments in last year's repair campaign amounted to almost UAH 4 billion.
