In the midst of preparations for the heating season, DTEK Energy's power engineers have returned to the energy system yet another energy unit of one of the company’s thermal power plants after its major overhaul.
This is already the second energy unit that the company's power engineers have added to the capacities of the Ukrainian energy system within a week. But this time it has been done ahead of schedule.
During summer peaks, when electricity consumption reached its maximum due to heat, the energy unit that has been returned after a major overhaul added an extra 190 MW capacity to the energy system.
In just the past few days, an extra 390 MW capacity has been added to the Ukrainian energy system.
