In the middle of the heating season, DTEK Energy's flexible capacities continue to support the reliability of the Ukrainian power grid, especially during peak demand.
Last month, thermal power plants of DTEK Energy supplied almost 1.5 billion kWh of electricity. This is 12% more than in January 2023 and is equivalent to the average energy consumption of about half a million households over the course of a year
“Despite regular and systematic attacks by the enemy on one of our frontline power plants, power engineers continue to do their best to maintain reliable operation of thermal generation and the power grid. Last year, our thermal power plants managed to generate 15.2 billion kWh of electricity for the grid. We repaired 25 TPP units as part of the annual scheduled maintenance campaign and restored 9 after the shelling. Since the beginning of the year, we have not slowed down and continue to produce electricity that is so important for the country. All for one purpose - to keep Ukrainians supplied with electricity and heat,” said Ildar Salieiev, CEO of DTEK Energy.
