This amount is equivalent to the average consumption of about 4.5 million households per year. This allowed us to ensure proper balancing of the power system both during the day and during peak consumption (morning and evening).
“Thermal power generation in Ukraine has suffered the most from Russia’s energy terror. Despite this, our power engineers managed not only to restore equipment and carry out all scheduled repairs in preparation for winter but also maintain stable operation of the power system throughout the year to keep Ukrainians supplied with electricity and heat. We continue to do this even now, when the power system is experiencing the maximum load due to the temperature drop and the minimum reserve of available generating capacities in the country,” said Ildar Salieiev, CEO of DTEK Energy.
