DTEK Energy's machine-building companies continue to help underground miners extract thermal coal, which is so important for the country.

Over the five months of this year, the company's mechanical engineers have manufactured and repaired 606 units of mining equipment. Among them are 7 new roadheaders and shearers.

The mechanical engineers also provided miners with 450 thousand spare parts and components.

These volumes of essential equipment allow us to continue to lay a stronger foundation for the thermal generation to survive the next heating season.

"Today, everyone is united by one goal - to ensure that Ukrainians have as much light as possible despite the massive attacks on the energy sector. We are clearing the rubble and repairing the thermal power plants damaged by the attacks 24/7. Everyone keeps working at their place. So are underground miners and mechanical engineers. The miners are there to extract enough coal for the reliable operation of thermal power plants. And mechanical engineers are there to make sure that miners always have all the equipment they need," said DTEK Energy CEO Ildar Salieiev.
