Within 8 months this year, DTEK ENERGY allocated almost UAH 1.4 billion for the repair of TPP units, BOP, buildings and structures. These efforts were aimed at ensuring reliable and uninterrupted operation of plants, especially on the eve of and during the heating season.
To date, power engineers have already conducted 17 out of 28 scheduled (including unscheduled) repairs of power units of thermal power plants this year. These are units of Kryvorizka, Prydniprovska, Zaporizka, Kurakhivs’ka, Luhanska, Burshtynska, Dobrotvirska (turbine) and Ladyzhynska TPPs.
Currently, 9 units are being repaired (including unscheduled repairs) at Kryvorizka, Prydniprovska, Zaporizka, Kurakhivs’ka, Burshtynska and Dobrotvirska TPPs.
4 more repairs of power units are scheduled by the end of the year. These are units of the Kurakhivs’ka, Luhanska, Burshtynska and Ladyzhynska TPPs.
‘Our goal is to ensure the stability of the Ukrainian energy system. In simple words, we aim to ensure that Ukrainians have light and warmth, regardless of the weather, time and network load. The key to this is a full repair of power plant units, which DTEK ENERGY, as a reliable and responsible company, conducts to support uninterrupted electricity production, especially during peak periods,’ said Ildar Salieiev, DTEK ENERGY CEO.
In total, by the end of 2021, DTEK ENERGY plans to allocate about UAH 2.5 billion for TPP repairs.
