For three years now, power engineers have been working in extremely difficult conditions, under enemy fire. Under constant shelling, they not only ensure the viability of thermal power plants but also make titanic efforts to rebuild their home enterprises after the destruction. Despite the fatigue, anxiety and uncertainty, they do their job with honour, bringing light and heating to Ukrainian families.
State awards
Six of our colleagues received Certificates of Honour from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine:
- Anatolii Reznichenko - Manager of Electrical Engineering Service of Protection, Automation and Communication Systems, DTEK Ladyzhynska TPP.
- Yevhen Ilchyshyn - shift supervisor of the boiler and turbine section, DTEK Ladyzhynska TPP.
- Oleh Makarenko - Senior Electrician for Power Plant Maintenance, DTEK Kryvorizka TPP.
- Roman Popadiuk - Head of the boiler repair shop, HALREMENERGO.
- Serhii Ornat - electrician for relay protection and automation equipment repair, DTEK Burshtynska TPP.
- Mykola Mazuryk - power unit operator, DTEK Burshtynska TPP.
Three colleagues were awarded the title of Outstanding Worker of the Energy Sector of Ukraine:
- Yevhen Serebrianskyi - Head of the Operations Department, DTEK Energy.
- Yaroslav Hren - Director, HALREMENERGO.
- Oleh Korniienko - Head of Operational Improvement Department, DTEK Prydniprovska TPP.
Another 65 employees were awarded Certificates of Honour, diplomas and commendation letters from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
