Fire Was Extinguished at Burshtynska TPP

UPD: as of 6:15 PM the fire at Burshtynska TPP was put out. No one was injured.

 

On 18 August, at 4:50 PM, DTEK Burshtynska TPP power engineers disconnected power unit No. 3 from the grid due to a fire in the oil tank at mark 9.6. Fire brigades of the State Emergency Service that were called to the scene started to contain the fire.

No one was injured. The shutdown of the power unit did not affect the heat and electricity supply to the Burshtyn Island.
