INFORMATION ON THE PHYSICAL/CHEMICAL QUALITIES OF THE HEAT PROVIDED
Heat supply source – Kryvorizka TPP, heat conductor – superheated network water.
Heat facilities (main and auxiliary equipment) and heat networks No. 1 and 2 of Kryvorizka TPP are constructed for operation with the open heat supply system
Open heat supply system is a heat supply system where the heat conductor circulating in the heat network circuit is also diverted for the hot water supply purpose.
Consumption of network water for direct intake from the network for hot water supply is compensated by the discharge of the feed water of the established quality
which is injected into the circulation circuit of the network through the flow control regulator.
The water quality meets the operating and maintenance rules of electric power plants and networks GKD 34.20.507-2003: |

Kryvorizka TPP supplies thermal energy:
during heating season with quality control:
- consumption of network water, a constant value, according to the estimated total load for heating and hot water supply for the urban facilities,
- temperature of network water is regulated centrally according to the temperature chart depending on the ambient temperature;
during non-heating season with quality control:
- consumption of network water is regulated under the actual load of hot-water supply (number of consumers),
- temperature of network water is constant value under the agreement.
Operating hydraulic modes of heat networks No. 1 and No. 2:
during heating season is developed considering the operation of mixing stations No. 1 and No. 2
Available pressure downstream of the mixing pumping station:
heat network No. 1 | 7,8/4,0= 3,8 kgf/cm2
heat network No. 2 | 5,0/3,6= 1,4 kgf/cm2
at heat units of terminal facilities | Ϫ Р= 0,3 kgf/cm2 |
Distribution of heat conductor consumption for each facility is achieved by installing limiting orifices on a building’s TS.
during non-heating season (one heat network operates):
Available pressure at the boundary line of heat networks of KTPP and public utility company ZGM:
heat network No. 1 (No. 2) |
4.0/2.8 = 1.2 kgf/cm2, In return pipeline water pressure not lower than 2.2 kgf/cm2. |
ENERGY SAVING MEASURES AND PROGRAMMES FOR HEAT TRANSPORTATION AND SUPPLY (IF ANY)
http://www.nerc.gov.ua/?id=19521
1. Fulfilment of the repair and test schedule on heat networks No. 1, 2 approved by the chief engineer of KTPP.
2. Installation of heat meters for each facility, analysis of heat consumption in a building.
3. Repair and revision of shut-off valves, replacement of gland packing.
4. Replacement of fault pipeline sections of the heat network (blowholes, leaks).
5. Restoration and repair of the main and coating layers of pipeline insulation of the heat networks (main, block level, building level).
6. Flushing of heat networks after repairs before heating season.
7. Revision of limiting orifices installed on the heat inlets to buildings.
