Last year, DTEK Pavlogradugol produced 18 million 200 thousand tons of coal for the Ukrainian energy sector. That fuel made it possible to produce about 52 billion kWh for the domestic energy system. All for the sake of the country’s energy independence and the stability of its region.
Guarantee of independent energy industry: miners of DTEK Pavlogradugol mined over 18 million tons of coal
Thus, miners of the first mining section of Stepova Mine have raised a million tons in a year. This is a real achievement for miners because the site team numbers only 134 people.
“Our team has finished the year with the production of a millionth ton of coal for the third time,” Oleksii Nahatskyi, foreman of breakage face miners of mining area 1 of DTEK Pershotravenske Mine Group, said. “And this is not only the desire to be the best but also our responsibility to our families, West Donbass region, and the energy industry.”
Miners of site 6 of Samarska Mine and the team of site 3 of Dniprovska Mine also distinguished themselves with significant results: they produced almost 900 thousand tons of coal in a year. And miners of mining site 3 of Pavlogradska Mine and site 5 of Geroiv Kosmosu Mine produced more than 700 thousand tons of coal.
Tunnellers prepared 94.5 km of mine workings for coal mining in the last year.
“In 2019, we allocated UAH 3 billion for the development of DTEK Pavlogradugol. Our common fruitful work made it possible to ensure stable salaries for employees, pay more than UAH 5 billion in taxes to budgets of all levels, and allocate almost UAH 9 million for the development of the region’s infrastructure,” Serhii Voronin, General Director of DTEK Pavlogradugol, noted.
