Up to 55 thousand for the idea: DTEK will finance the initiatives of the residents of Zelenodolsk
In 2018, every resident of Zelenodolsk OGT, as well as any of the 55 territories where DTEK's business develops, can take part in the annual mini-grant competition "Huge with its own hands". And win up to 55 thousand UAH for the realization of his idea to improve his native city. In addition, this year there will be no restrictions on the number of projects - potential winners, within the overall budget of the contest, which this year is 30 million UAH. In 2018, DTEK increased the amount to implement 15 major projects from 200 to 500 thousand UAH. This means that all significant projects can be implemented.

This was said on April 3 in the Jubilee Palace of Culture in Zelenodolsk at the first meeting of the group of participants with the organizers of the contest this year. Representatives of the Agency for Local Development identified the priority areas of the competition: social sphere, housing and communal services, energy efficiency of multi-family houses OSMD and OSBB, lighting in villages and ecology, promotion of healthy lifestyles and sports, educational, cultural and creative initiatives, city improvement.
Project applications are evaluated by the competitive commission. The residents of the city will be able to take an active part in the definition of the winning projects. For this it is necessary to vote on the website of the social partnership http://spp-dtek.com.ua. After the main competition, the national stage will be announced, where the relevant commission, headed by the UN Global Compact, will determine the 5 best projects in all territories. They will receive an additional 20 to 100 thousand UAH.

We share our intellectual foundation - the support of the best practitioners who will be assigned to every energy efficiency project, "said Victor Volkov, deputy of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council, manager of interaction with local authorities of DTEK Krivoy Rog TPP. - By conducting a competition of mini-grants "The Whole with Our Own Hands", DTEK thus contributes to the development of public activity and initiative among the inhabitants. "
