In 2019, DTEK Dobropolyeugol LLC and Mine Bilozerska ALC paid 18 % (UAH 290 million) to budgets more than a year earlier. In total – UAH 1,618 million. The state treasury was replenished by UAH 1,400 million, and the regional treasury – by UAH 48 million, using those funds. Mines transferred another UAH 170 million to budgets of cities and villages of Velyke Dobropillya, Dobropillya and Oleksandrivka districts. DTEK Dobropolyeugol is the main employer and taxpayer in the region.
DTEK Dobropolyeugol mines paid over UAH 1,600 million in taxes
“Despite the crisis situation that persists in the energy sector, we still manage to maintain the stable operation of Bilozerske and Dobropilske Mine Groups, and Dobropil’s’ka and Oktyabrskaya CEP. Employees receive salaries, which in December averaged UAH 15.8 thousand, without delays and in time. Its level is significantly higher than in the state mines of the region. At the same time, we remain a conscientious taxpayer because we understand that timely tax payments to the state treasury are decent life of residents of cities and towns – our employees and their families,” Yurii Cherednychenko, General Director of DTEK Dobropolyeugol, emphasized.
Deductions from DTEK Dobropolyeugol enterprises enable Dobropillya City Council in 2020 to retain social facilities and pay salaries to employees of hospitals, schools, kindergartens, culture and leisure centers, libraries, sports institutions, provide assistance to veterans, disabled people, children in difficult circumstances, and improve settlements.
