russia Continues To Destroy DTEK Energy’s Coal Processing Plant in Donetsk Region

On 8 September, russia carried out another terrorist attack on Ukraine's energy sector. Once again, DTEK Energy's coal processing plant was shelled.

As a result of the attack, the plant's buildings continue to be destroyed and process equipment damaged.

The plant's staff on duty at the time of the attack were in shelters and were not injured. Rescuers from the Ukrainian Ministry of Emergency Situations were called in to deal with the aftermath of the attack.

This is not the first large-scale attack by the enemy on the plant, which concentrates coal for the country's thermal power generation.

Due to the approaching front line and the growing threat to the lives of employees, the company was forced to suspend its operations. Production processes were mothballed to resume work after the security situation stabilises, and people (except for on-duty personnel) were provided with work at other companies.

Currently, the enterprise's operations are completely paralysed, and the processing facilities are in a state unsuitable for operation.
