The creative workshop for two years of its existence became part of the corporate culture for employees of DTEK Kurakhovskaya TPP. To create creative activities in their spare time, power engineers equipped a special room in the administrative building. Here they decided to conduct an open master class on decoupage, inviting children for joint creativity.
The offer to visit the company where their parents work, pleased 11 children aged six and older.
"We have pasted beautiful Easter pictures onto wooden pieces in the form of eggs, covered them with varnish, and dried them with a hair dryer. Brushes, paints, varnish, colored ribbons - all lay on the tables when we went into the workshop. And we were given white coats so that we would not get dirty, "says little Polina.
Twelve-year-old Margarita, daughter of an employee of the fuel and transport shop, choosing a picture for decoupage, described the occupation in the creative workshop as "the happiest and long-awaited day". The son of an electrician - a thirteen-year-old Vadim, creating an Easter decoration, proudly told about his desire to visit the production plants of the power plant.
"The idea to conduct a creative workshop with children in the same format as the energy community gathers, justified itself 100%. The children of the employees unanimously told us that they are happy to be at the company where the parents work. For older children, this has become another opportunity to look at the choice of the future profession. For themselves, they opened the profession of energy from the creative side. Feel yourself an energetic, and creatively talented - like everyone without exception.
