Amid hostile attacks and an increased load on the Ukrainian power grid due to the temperature drop, DTEK Energy’s power engineers completed scheduled repairs and returned two power units of the company’s thermal power plants to the grid this week.
Both power units are already in operation and are carrying the load. One of them is planned to increase the load to 165 MW in the near future, while the other one added 130 MW to the grid.
Thus, as of today, DTEK Energy has completed 23 repairs of power units at the company TPPs as part of the annual repair campaign.
The upgraded capacities allow us to increase thermal generation and ensure that the power system can more reliably cope with peaks in electricity consumption.
Power engineers continue to do their best to maintain the reliability of the power system given the temperature drop and the enemy’s energy terror so that Ukrainians have electricity and heat in their homes.
