The machine-building company Corum Group (DTEK Energy) will partially transfer the production capacities of its enterprises to the sites of machine-building plants in Khmelnytsky and Volyn. Specialists have already started production of anchors, fire hoses, remnants and sprockets - all to ensure the continuous operation of DTEK Energy's mines and the stable operation of Ukrainian energy system.
Part of the products of the Corum Druzhkivka Machine-Building Plant - anchors and fire hoses – will be manufactured in Khmelnytsky. Currently, machine builders adjusted the production process, worked on the approval of design documentation and have already released the first batches of anchors.
The production of spare parts for mining equipment (remnants, sprockets), which were manufactured at the Corum Svitlo Shakhtarya plant, will be distributed on the industrial sites of the Volyn region. All preparatory work has been carried out - the first stars will be made and delivered for the needs of DTEK Energy miners in May this year. In addition, the possibility of producing spare parts of the shaft-gear group on the territory of Poland is being worked out.
"During the war with the Russian occupiers, we managed to quickly find alternative capacities and partially relocate the production of Corum Group, which is critical for us. The stable operation of DTEK Energy's coal companies depends on the efficient and reliable work of machine builders, and thus the availability of light and heat in Ukrainian homes. We are doing everything possible to continue to ensure the country's energy independence and bring our victory closer with dedicated work", - commented Ildar Saleev, CEO of DTEK Energy.
