This year, 72 employees of DTEK Energy's TPPs and repair enterprises received awards from the President, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Energy on the occasion of the Power Engineer's Day.
Ihor Pidhomnyi and Oleksii Hlazkov from Burshtynska TPP received the Presidential award - the honorary title of "Honored Power Engineer of Ukraine".
Their plant colleague Lesia Kropelnytska was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Oleh Tarashchuk, Director of Dobrotvorska TPP, received the "Excellence in Power Engineering of Ukraine" badge.
Also, three power engineers were awarded Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Energy, eight received Certificates of Appreciation from the Ministry of Energy, and 57 colleagues received Letters of Gratitude.
"Their combat line is the second after the frontline," said Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, "24/7, under the fire of missiles and drones, in any weather and season, under any conditions and circumstances, they make real miracles. They make sure that every home, every enterprise, every city and every village has light and heat. I thank all power engineers for their resilience, heroism and professionalism."
"Electricity is not merely important, it is now the basis to ensure the efficiency of the home front and its ability to resist the enemy. For this reason, the work of power engineers at this time is a great mission that they carry out with patriotism and dedication. I am grateful to my colleagues and sincerely proud of their actions, expertise and decent daily work in extremely difficult conditions," said DTEK Energy CEO Ildar Saleev.
