The main goal of social partnership is to improve the quality of life in the areas where DTEK Energy operates through community development. The energy company's reforms and investments affect the quality of life for most people. This is especially so in the regions where the company's enterprises employ thousands of people.

The company systematically develops partnerships with communities to achieve a common goal - sustainable development of districts, cities, towns and villages. To address the most pressing issues in a comprehensive manner, DTEK Energy, together with local authorities, business, local development experts and community representatives, has developed strategies for the social and economic development of the territories. Roadmaps have been created for the territories to help communities raise funds for project implementation, both from business and state funds, as well as from international donor organisations.

‘DTEK Energy provides expertise and finances projects that create new opportunities and develop the economy and social sphere of the territories where the company operates. Since 2007, DTEK Energy has invested more than UAH 840 mln in the social and economic development of the regions where it operates.
