DTEK Energy's power engineers continue to restore thermal power plants to minimise the impact of numerous massive hostile attacks and restore everything possible as soon as possible.
In January-November this year, the company invested over UAH 2.8 billion of its own funds in the restoration of thermal generation.
‘Last month, after a three-month pause, russia committed two more massive shelling attacks: on 17th and 28th November. The enemy used more than 400 missiles and drones against Ukraine's energy facilities. Electricity generation and transmission facilities across the country were targeted. Once again, our thermal power plants have suffered. However, power engineers are doing everything possible to address the consequences of the attacks as soon as possible and return as much capacity as possible to the grid. We work non-stop,' said Oleksandr Fomenko, CEO of DTEK Energy.
For reference.
This year, the Ukrainian power grid has already suffered 11 massive attacks by the enemy. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, DTEK Energy's TPPs have been shelled by the enemy more than 200 times. The attacks injured 56 power engineers and killed three.
