DTEK Energy's machine-building businesses continue to provide Ukrainian mines with the equipment needed for coal mining.
Between January and June this year, mechanical engineers manufactured and repaired 1,707 units of mining equipment, including four new shearers for longwall mining.
In addition, machine builders supported the needs of miners by producing 1.2 million spare parts and components.
"DTEK Energy's machine builders are actively manufacturing equipment and providing miners with the necessary spare parts. This allows Ukrainian mines to produce coal in a stable manner so that thermal power generation can confidently go through the summer peak load period and enter the next heating season with more reliability. We are doing everything we can to remain a strong support for the Ukrainian energy sector and the country despite the extraordinary challenges of the war," commented DTEK Energy CEO Oleksandr Fomenko.
