Within 5 minutes at DTEK Pridneprovskaya TPP, the ignition of the transformer was eliminated. There are no victims

At 4:00 on April 5, 2018, an ignition occurred on the current transformer T-11 located on the territory of the open switchgear of DTEK at Pridneprovskaya TPP. At 4:15 on the scene arrived voluntary fire brigade DTEK Pridneprovskaya TPP and fire engines of the State Emergency Service of the Dnieper. Within 5 minutes, the fire is eliminated.
As a result of the fire, there was an automatic shutdown of the electric power supply along three transmission lines, including a 330 kV power transmission line connecting DTEK to Pridneprovskaya TPP and the Pecnaya substation.
There are no victims. The incident does not damage the environment. There are no threats to the safety of city residents.
The causes of fire are established.
