On 3 July, one of DTEK Energy's facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region was significantly damaged as a result of yet another enemy attack.
Sadly, a security service employee was killed. Five more workers were injured. All those affected were promptly given the necessary medical care. The company is providing them with comprehensive support; they are currently undergoing treatment and recovery.
The strike caused significant destruction of production and administrative structures located on the enterprise's premises.
The enemy strike left the enterprise completely deenergized. At the time of the attack, 86 workers were underground in the mine. The emergency response plan was immediately put into effect at the enterprise. All the miners were successfully evacuated to the surface. None of them required medical care.
Operation activity at the enterprise has been suspended for the time being. It has been switched to a life-support mode. DTEK Energy specialists are assessing the extent of the damage and are preparing to begin emergency restoration works as soon as the security situation allows.
