Following russia’s another terrorist strike, a DTEK Energy’s energy enterprise has been disconnected from the energy system, recovery works are underway

Late at night of 19 October, russian troops attacked Ukraine’s civil and energy infrastructure yet again. One of DTEK Energy’s enterprises sustained structural damages. Luckily, there have been no casualties or health implications.

Following the strikes, the enterprise’s equipment and infrastructure were severely damaged and it has therefore been completely disconnected from the energy system now. The energy professionals have promptly started response works to handle the aftermath of strikes and to further resume the operations.
Suspension of the enterprise’s work has resulted in the curbs of electricity supplies across the region; however, the works to resume them are currently under way.

DTEK Energy continues doing whatever is possible to sustain the reliable work of Ukrainian energy system under conditions of the aggressor’s terror against the energy sector. The company aligns its actions with NEC Ukrenergo to ensure efficient handling of the challenges and to effectively supply the customers with electricity.
