The Come On, Let’s Play project makes football the national game for Ukrainians, and every young Ukrainian wishing to develop their talents in this area have received this opportunity. Halych Yaroslav Osmomysl School is the project’s sixth location in the Carpathian region.

“We are glad that this project of the national importance has finally arrived to our school. We have been waiting for this for an entire year. From now on, our children will be able not only play amateur football but will also get closer to their dream of becoming members of the large sports family of Shakhtar FC. I wish everyone success and sporting achievements that we all can be proud of!” says Maria Savchuk, director of Halych Yaroslav Osmomysl School.

“DTEK Energy supports talented youth. This is why we have been implementing the Come On, Let’s Play project with Shakhtar FC. The objective of this project is to promote an active and healthy way of life among the youth. Its main advantage is that young sportsmen can participate free of charge. They receive all the required equipment, a field with professional cover, and qualified coaches who receive training from foreign specialists in sports academies. Now, young Galician sportsmen can learn how to play professional football. Not only trainings but also qualifying rounds and preparations for tournaments will be arranged on the basis of Shakhtar FC academy where players will be selected for the youth team of the club. By the way, this is the first location where interest in sports is demonstrated not only by boys but also by a large number of girls. I wish everyone success on their way to achieving dreams!” commented Rostyslav Vytrykhovskyi, local government liaison manager of DTEK Burshtynska TPP.

Come On, Let’s Play is the most large-scale social project of kids’ amateur football in Ukraine. Its geography includes 36 localities around Ukraine. The project is implemented by Shakhtar Social and DTEK in cooperation with UEFA Foundation for Children. Last year, the Come On, Let’s Play project won the More than Football Award 2019 in the European competition of social projects.
