This Week Brought Happy News to DTEK Energy Miners’ Family

During the latest prisoner exchange, our colleague and defender Yaroslav Nikiforov returned home.
The long-awaited reunion with his family on his homeland took place a month before his 32nd birthday.
Yaroslav has been working in the coal industry for eight years. Before signing a contract to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he worked as an underground miner in the preparatory works section.
On the 17th November 2021, the miner joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Two years later, news came that he had been taken prisoner.
We sincerely thank our defender for his courage in the fight for Ukraine's independence, his resilience, and his fortitude.
