Oleksandr Anhelovskyi Takes Over the Leadership of the Pavlogradske Mine Group

A personnel announcement has been made at the Pavlogradske Mine Group. Oleksandr Anhelovskyi was appointed as a new company Director. He superseded Oleksandr Bekeshko who had been in charge of the Mine Group since 2018.

During the period when he headed the company, Oleksandr Bekeshko not only improved the performance of the Pavlogradska and Ternivska mines but also secured the leadership position of the Mine Group among other undertakings of DTEK PAVLOHRADCOAL. Under his leadership, the mine personnel has successfully commissioned over a dozen of new longwalls and produced over eight million tonnes of coal. The Mine Group purchased innovative mining equipment to tool up working faces. Staff facilities were improved: the administrative and amenities buildings were renovated at both mines, the territory was beautified, and new trees and shrubs were planted. 2019 was a historic year as the mine group personnel became the first team in Ukraine to bring to grass four million tonnes of coal and also secured the leadership position in the preparation of new working faces.

Oleksandr Anhelovskyi, a new Director of DTEK Pavlogradske Mine Group, is committed to contributing his expertise and experience to strengthening the stable operation of the enterprise. His key task is to develop working relationships among the personnel to ensure efficient teamwork. Occupational safety and maximum reduction of the incident rate are among the top priorities.

Now, it is Oleksandr Anhelovskyi’s turn to continue improving the efficiency of the company’s operations and promoting a safety culture", commented on the new appointment Serhii Voronin, DTEK PAVLOHRADCOAL CEO.

Oleksandr Anhelovskyi has 28 years of experience as a miner. He has been holding managerial positions for over 20 years. He is a full cavalier of the Miner’s Glory award and holds a PhD degree in Technical Science. Throughout the years of his work, Oleksandr Anatoliiovych has earned the reputation of an efficient industrial worker and knowledgeable manager.

Oleksandr Anhelovskyi joined DTEK in May 2018 as Director of the Dobropilske Mine Group. In a year, he stabilized the operation of Almazna and Dobropilska mines and managed to increase coal production by almost 50%.
