On 5 March, 200 Ukrainians returned from russian captivity as part of a prisoner exchange.
Among them was the youngest of the captives, Ihor Bieliakov, a miner at one of DTEK Energy's coal mines.
Before the full-scale war, he had worked for several years at a repair and mechanical plant and a mine in Shakhtarsk town, Dnipropetrovsk Region. In 2019, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ihor Bieliakov defended the country on various fronts, but in May 2024, he was taken prisoner near Kharkiv.
For almost two endless years, his wife, little son, mother and father waited for him at home.
We share in the heartfelt joy of our defender’s family, friends and fellow villagers.
Faith in the Armed Forces of Ukraine!
Faith in Ukraine’s victory!
