On the morning of 20 October, russia committed another terrorist attack on Ukraine's energy sector. This time, the target was a DTEK Energy coal processing plant in Dnipropetrovsk region.

None of the plant's employees were injured.

The company has now introduced an accident response plan and is working to contain the accident, after which it will start to remediate the damage.

This is the sixth large-scale attack by the enemy on the company's coal enterprises in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions in the last two months.

The day before, on 19 October, the enemy attacked one of the company's mines in Dnipropetrovsk region while 192 miners were underground. All of them were brought to the surface, and fortunately, no one was injured.

Despite the enemy's attacks, DTEK Energy employees continue to do everything possible to maintain the reliable operation of thermal power generation and the Ukrainian energy system.
