Today, on December 23, one of DTEK Energy's thermal power plants in the frontline region was damaged again after repeated and intense shelling.
Unfortunately, five power engineers were wounded by the shelling. They were promptly given first aid and taken to hospital. We keep in touch with them and their families and provide all necessary assistance.
The company's equipment was damaged. The shelling is still ongoing. Once it ceases, the power engineers will start to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
In the face of enemy attacks, DTEK Energy continues to do its utmost to maintain reliable operation of the Ukraine's energy system. The company synchronizes its actions with NPC Ukrenergo.
Over the past two months, this is the tenth attack on the frontline thermal power plant. The last one happened the day before, on December 20.
