On 25 October, russia committed another terrorist attack on the Ukrainian energy sector. One of DTEK Energy's coal mines in Dnipropetrovsk region was targeted.
Due to the shelling, the company has put its accident response plan into action. Once the situation is contained, the company will begin to repair the damage.
None of the employees were injured.
During the attack, 496 mine employees were underground. A planned evacuation was carried out, and all employees were brought to the surface.
This is the seventh large-scale attack by the enemy on the company's coal enterprises in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions in the last two months.
